the „Klimke Horse Training“ app has been developed with great attention to detail and is available on the AppStore. However, despite extensive testing, problems can occur. Often these are caused by the individual iPhone settings.

1.) The media download aborts, what should I do?

 

The “Klimke Horse Training” app contains videos, photos and diagrams with a total of approximately 350MB which need to be downloaded separately once. We strongly recommend a fast Wi-Fi connection.

 

Please check the Wi-Fi connection on your iPhone. If all three bars are full, the iPhone has very good Wi-Fi connection.

Your iPhone should also still have enough storage capacity.
 

Should you still experience problems downloading the videos, please e-mail us the following information and a description of the error to fb@pferdia.de:


- Which iOS version do you have? (you can find this under: settings > general > about > version)

- Which iPhone/iPad do you have? (e.g. iPhone 6, iPhone 4S etc.)

-How exactly is the app behaving, i.e. does the download simply abort and/or does the app crash? Does the progress bar stop or does it move very slowly? Etc.

2.) Why can’t I hear any sound when I play the videos?

 

The absence of sound when playing the videos can have several causes.

 

Answer a) 

Your iPhone is on mute. The iPhone has its own hardware switch which allows instant muting. The button is situated on the left hand side, at the top. It is also important that you locate the volume controls (+ and -) situated below, and increase the volume by pressing on the “+ button”.

Answer b)

The volume control in the video enables you to adjust the volume manually. Please check whether the sound is on.

If you still cannot hear any sound, please e-mail fb@pferdia.de.

3.) How do I get to the training plan after I’ve created my horse’s profile?

 

Tapping on the book icon will take you to the training plan.

4.) How do I get to my horse’s profile?

 

For this you need to tap on your horse’s name.

5.) How can I add a new diary entry to the training plan?

 

Tap on the + sign on the top right of the screen.

6.) How can I rate my training?


You cannot rate any diary entries that have been set in the future (the smiley face is transparent/grey). Once the date is reached, the smiley face is activated (transparent/yellow).

 

By tapping the smiley face, you can enter your rating.

7.) How can I create statistics for my training?

 

In the training plan, tap on the “statistics” button at the bottom left of the screen. Set the desired timeframe for your statistics and tap on “done” in the top right of the screen.

8.) I cannot view my training unit in the Apple calendar. Why is this?


This issue only occurs with very few users. We are trying to correct the error as fast as possible in an update. We can, however, only find a solution if you provide us with the following information:


- Which iOS version do you have? (you can find this under: settings > general > about > version)

- Which iPhone/iPad do you have? (e.g. iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 etc.)

- Which calendar provider do you have? (you can find this under settings > mail, contacts, calendar > accounts)

9.) How can I save my data or transfer it to a new iPhone

 

 Your data can be exported via email and thus transferred to a new iPhone or saved as backup.


This is what you need to do:

1.) Go to „Info“.

2.) Click on the button „Data Backup". An email window will open.

3.) Attached to this email is a file with the data you have entered in your „Horse Training“ app.

4.) Please enter your own email address as the recepient. This must be an email address which you can access on your iPhone.

5.) Check your email inbox and open the email on your iPhone.

IMPORTANT: Before you continue, please make sure that the „Horse Training“ app on your iPhone is closed, even in your iPhone’s task manager!

(If you wish to transfer the data to a new iPhone, please make sure the app is installed on your new phone prior to transferring the data via email.)

6.) Click on the attachment.

7.) Your iPhone will know suggest severel options for opening the file. Please select „Horse Training“ app to open the file.

8.) The data will then automatically be transferred, replacing any existing data in your „Horse Training“ app.
